El Cazador Mexican Restaurant and Bar

I visited this restaurant and our first impressions are that it was not very well cared for. The booths had ripped chairs, the floors weren’t very clean, and the bathrooms were dirty. See the photo of the rusted nail just inexplicably laying in the sink. Paint was peeling off the walls and the fixtures and walls looked like they had never been cleaned. That said, I have been to “hole in the wall” restaurants that have been quite tasty. The cheese dip we ordered was “medium” but we were served a salad bowl full. It was such a generous portion and very good. Our meals were just fine—my beans tasted like poison but the burrito and rice were tasty. Much needed nice new Mexican restaurant in the downtown area. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in surrounding areas but this on has a unique fresh flavors form the cheese dip to the loaded tortillas on my burrito la carbon. My wife’s quesadilla had a cool edible bowl with all the condiments. Prices were very reasonable. The service was outstanding and very friendly. There is s small bar in the back of the dining area. The atmosphere is typical Mexican fare. Parking is on the street, but you should be able to find s spot within a block or two.

This restaurant has a nasty disgusting bathroom. The food is nothing special just like every other copy and paste Mexican restaurant. I miss who I was before eating here, don’t waste your time coming here. Waiting time was horrendously long, we had to GET SOMEONES ATTENTION to take our order. 💔🌝

Great service, and the food was delish! The atmosphere is kind of brighter than I prefer. But the meal made up for it. We parked on the street right in front. The Contarita cocktail was awesome!

It was a really good restaurant. Decor is kinda tacky but the food had a lot of flavor. I could have eaten my lunch portion for dinner. The service was ok.
