My recent visit to El Chalecito Restaurant was an absolute delight, and I'm thrilled to share what a fantastic experience it was! From the moment I stepped in, I could feel the vibrant and fun atmosphere, especially perfect for a weekend outing. It's clear that since the change in management, this place has truly elevated its game, and for the better! The food here is simply super delicious, and I was particularly impressed by how incredibly fresh everything tasted. The appetizers, in particular, were a definite highlight – absolutely YUM! As someone who appreciates authentic Nicaraguan flavors, I can confidently say that El Chalecito is doing it right; every dish genuinely reflects the rich culinary traditions. Beyond the amazing food, the restaurant truly shines with its entertainment

Super delicious!! They changed management and for the better! I love how everything taste's so fresh! And the appetizers.... YUM. I'm Nica and I feel like they definitely are doing it right. The place is fun on the weekends too. I went there with my aunts and my mother and they had a great time. Music was great and they even have Karaoke nights sometimes. Wonderful!

This place was the BEST Authentic food. Excellent service. Not much English speaking going on, but they did find someone for us to do a little translating. He set us up with the perfect authentic selections. The Oxtail soup was to die for. It's about a mile from Bay of Pigs monument, but worth the trip. I suggest this place over any joint along the Bay of Pigs attraction strip.
