The sauces and staff here really set this place apart. I normally like tomatoes and onions in my guacamole, but theirs was really good with just the avocado and seasonings. The quesadillas pictured is only half the order! Both were the chicken. It didn’t have a lot of flavor, but I liked this better because you could put whatever amazing sauce you wanted on it! It just soaked it in.
Food was great. I enjoyed the beef enchiladas. The rice and beans were also done great (a lot of places have terrible rice and beans in Pueblo) , but here they have good flavor and weren't over cooked, they were done just right. The staff was friendly and attentive. I recommend and will return.
Excellent food and the prices were amazing. I had steak eggs and fried potatoes for less then $15. You can't beat that. The waitress was wonderful. Will definitely eat again. Went today for the 2nd time had 3 chicken tacos on white. Amazing 👏 🤩 and the beans just melt in your mouth. I use bith the red and green sauce because I canr choose between the two. You have to go early though this delicacy is only open til 3 pm.
Outstanding service and great food! We stopped on our way back to Houston from Colorado with a party of 9 and so glad we did. Everything we ate was great. My mother had the green chilaquiles and I had the huevos rancheros with flour tortillas. The red sauce on the huevos rancheros were of a unique NM flavor.
This place is ok. The one thing this place does differently that I haven't seen at any other Mexican restaurant is their Mexican Philly, which I have gotten a few times. It varied in quality each time I got it, but overall it was pretty good. Everything else doesn't really stand out from any other Mexican restaurant I have been to. This place is open at 5:30 in the morning (probably because it's right next to Evraz), which is earlier than most other restaurants around the area, but they have a limited menu until 7am. I was told they don't have the fryers turned on, so you can't get the deep fried tacos or french fries. Overall, the place isn't bad but taste wise it just doesn't stand out enough to me. If you live in Pueblo or frequently pass through this city it's a restaurant worth chec
