I typically only leave reviews when I have a really good experience. This is different, it may be one of the first times I’m writing a review because something was so disgusting & inedible. The “sauce” was just oily & watery, with no flavor whatsoever. The “steak” (which I’m not even convinced it was steak, it may have been canned dog food) was tough, fatty & absolutely bland. The plantains were discolored & unappetizing. I couldn’t take more than 1 bite, the only thing on the plate that was half decent was the beans. That was disappointing because I couldn’t finish those either, since I could not stand to even look at that meat anymore. I had to take the whole plate directly to the trash can outside. I love this place. I've been coming here for the past 18 years. Their buckets of beer, pupusas, shrimp soup, chicharrones and pollo de crema are super delish! The chips and salsa are phenomenal!

Placed an order for chicken nuggets and fries, 10min wait time, no problem will be back to pick up. Came back paid then the lady told me to wait for 10min!!! I tried to explain that I already put in the order 10min ago and I’m back here to pay and pick up! No I’m sorry or whatsoever! Plus there was only one gentleman dining in. “Wait 10min” I told her unfortunately I don’t have another 10min to wait pls cancel my order. She refused!!! Just like that, No!

My wife came to Laurel (where I work) so that we could have lunch together. We got a pupusa appetizer, and I had the #3 special and my wife had the #5. The beef burrito was a very good roast beef, and everything was excellent. Thank you for a very nice lunch date!

Food and service were both superb. The entrees and service charge were somewhat expensive but probably unavoidable these days.
