El Chimal Bakery

Definately not what I asked for. Very nice customer service but felt like I could have made this cake. Below is similar to what I asked for and what they gave me. I also asked for purple not pink.

Horrible bakery. Picked up birthday cake for my daughter’s first birthday and they ruined it with a horrible cake. Such a simple cake we ordered and they made it so awful. NEVER Go there for cake.

Very good bakery that makes very creative variations of Mexican sweet bread not seen in other Mexican bakeries. I've been to other bakeries in cities like Austin and Houston and this to me is one of the good ones for this area. The bread is also moist, not dry like some places. The tres leches cake was excellent, although I wish they had other varieties like strawbery and cinnamon. Nevertheless, I will return for more mexican sweet bread, tres leches cake, and cookies in the future. Lastly, I honestly feel they need a bigger, better sign outside that can bring more customers to this business. At one point, I couldn't tell if the place was open or not. I'm really glad I stopped by today.

I will not be coming here again!!paid 60 for a super small cake in which I was told would be bigger and once we tried to cut it we couldn't because the picture I requested was not edible and I was not told it wouldn't be. If I was told it would be like this I would of bought it somewhere else. Just a big disappointment because I got used to buying cakes for every event from El Chimal Bakery and now they just really disappointed me this time especially for the price they gave me for it

I was so upset I bought a tres leches cake. 👎 it was actually like an angel pound cake. Cuz there was no milk at all what so ever not one two much less three milks smh
