El Chivito Birrieria

Chilaquilles were delicious the green salsa was very flavorful and fresh not overly salted. The birria wasnt oily it was very clean i enjoyed everything on the plate its definitely a must try if you havent checked this place out. Dont compare this place to tijuanazo this place tastes way better

Just a heads up green chilaquiles are way too spicy so order wisely. Also make sure to be aware that if you order them with eggs theres am extra charge for eggs waitress didn't mention that only asked how I wanted the eggs done. Also brought an order of tortillas I didn't ask for to try and charge more got upset when I told her I didn't order a side of tortillas. Then showed up with a to go order I didn't ask for had to have them remove that from my bill seems like they want to make sure they sell by adding extra items to the bill no one ordered. Food was alright there's better spots out there not planning on coming back here.

Great atmosphere with the decorations. The staff was friendly and the food came out quick. However, I was the only customer. I do have some complaints. I ordered 3 taco meal with consome. The tacos were tinyyy, but I guess I'm paying for the authentic quality meal. I dont know if its a regional thing but the birria was pale and lacked flavor. Dont get me wrong the meat and consome was good but im used to having more chile to make the meat and consome darker red. Over all I think I need to try it again.

Really nice ambience with the decorations and songs playing. Ordered a macisa plate meat was really tender, juicy, melt in your mouth and flavorful. Not to gamy just right. Service was quick and friendly. Food came out hot even the tortillas. Definitely would come again highly recommend. They have posole Fridays 2 to 8 pm. Will try that next.

Really good and more food than I expected(probably from past experience in other birria places) love the ambiance and the simplicity of the restaurant
