El Chunky

Saw their advertisement on Facebook. Decided to try it out. We’ve been back at least 4 times. El Chunky has the best tasting Mexican hot dogs and fries ever! Beyond delicious! The eating area is really comfortable and quaint - makes it for an enjoyable meal and atmosphere.

My family and me are new to the area and have been slowly trying new foods in San Antonio. My brother saw a tiktok video of this spot and we decided to try it for dinner. Let me tell you I was skeptical at first, I've had bad experiences where the hot dog is salty and over powers the toppings. These hot dogs were absolutely amazing! I got it delivered and it was packaged very nice and organized to where the hot dogs didn't move much from Point A to Point B. Definitely planning our next trip in person next.

It’s a Hot Dog Stand ! This ain’t your average Hot Dog. My wife and I swung by this lil gem on Presa after a Tik Tok video and a craving for some San Antonio specialty food. We love this city . This should be way busier than it was. Pricing is better than reasonable for the amount of food you get . It’s simply delicious Hot Dogs Tacos Quesadillas my wife got the Alambre. She wants to go back tommorow. I did 3 different dogs and I could barely finish 1 . I’m a fan . Being from New York and finding a Dog this good down here is like hitting the lottery . Try it you won’t be disappointed

Been hearing about this hot dog joint for a while and was able to finally swing by. WOW! With a side of delicious! I can honestly say I've never had a hot dog like it! The place is welcoming and inviting. Got a great local vibe to it. I was greeted with a smile from Arie. Since it was my first time there, I asked for suggestions. She told me the Fajita Chunky was the most popular. So, I went with that. It didn't take long for it to be ready. And for the price, it's a terrific deal! And when I say it was big, that's an understatement! It was massive! And it was everything the description said it was! I can't wait to return and try some more flavors! 😁

Definitely reccomend. As someone not big on hot dogs, I was really impressed. The cheese fries are also really good. Hot dogs are topping packed but not to the point it feels like it’s junk food. Quick and efficient service but not rushed preparation of food. If not big into hot dogs there are other options to choose from as well which is good when going in a group.
