Was looking for something comforting and filling, and El Dorado really delivered. We ordered the mangu with cheese, salami, and egg, an egg and salami sandwich, and chicken soup for takeout, and overall everything hit the spot. The mangu is a classic Dominican breakfast mashed green plantains cooked until soft and creamy, served with fried egg, fried cheese, and salami. But they are all amazing and I say this and I’m not Latin American so I’m not being biased. The menu is packed with options for all of your wants and needs when wanting to indulge. It’s no fancy spot to dine in, it’s a spot you go in alone, with friend
