El Gallito Mexican Restaurant

Nice place for feeding large gatherings since they offer onsite catering and they have two separate dining rooms. Service was prompt and friendly and the buffet package we opted for was the beef and chicken fajitas with two sides, rice and beans. The chicken was a little bland but we'll cooked and the beef was good. Tortillas were great and the servers kept everyone topped off with soft drinks and cocktails.

Omg the nopalitos with tuna patty so good! Sorry couldn't post a separate review for them. I also got a desert with this Lent special!😄Enchiladas were very salty I couldn't tell if it was the cheese or the tomatillo sauce but over all great price, fast service.

Like everything but the prices, man when did they start charging $20 per entree. It used to be good food at reasonable prices, I know inflation and all that but come on. We're talking beans, rice, and a little bit of fajita. I'll just go to Roadhouse if I'm gonna spend $50+ dollars.

05-24-2024 visit, food was great. Hadn't been here in a bit. Gotta say, they're pretty darn consistent. Great Monterrey Chicken & Mariachi plate. Definitely be back.......... Great food, great service.4/14/23 visit. Stopped in for a late dinner. Sat immediately, drink order taken quickly and entree order taken shortly after that. Over a good visit but it was really cold in there. Started off with chips and salsa, fair warning they aren't complimentary. We're ok with that. I ordered a classic, Monterey Chicken and the wife had taquitos of bistek. Food was great.

Best fajitas I've had at a Mexican restaurant. The margaritas were also well worth the $5. Edit: We came back and had another excellent experience. We ordered the fried fish plate, 2 nacho supremes, and El Gallito's Tacos. The fish plate was a lot bigger than expected and definitely worth the money.
