El Gordo Taqueria

Im not from this area and we were just out here doing a job so we didnt know any good places to eat. I love Mexican food and this was one of the first places that popped up so we gave it a chance and wow the food here was amazing!!! Also great customer service from Stephany and the other woman I spoke to (her name started with a Y) and I dont want to misspell it 😂 The salsa was spicy and delicious and the tacos were so good I came back before leaving town to take some on the road with me. Thank you so much for the hospitality, this place is a hidden gem and I will remember it ! Gracias a todos - Johnny

I enjoyed this outing with my family. I had to conduct research for a class, and we decided to stop by and have lunch here. This was a delightful place. Loved the staff, and the food was excellent!

What a beautiful place and amazing food! The server and the girl at the counter were super super nice! Love this ambience and care for the customer!

Stoped in for a quick bite before leaving Huntsville back to Houston. The food here was actually pretty good. The salsa served with chips was very tasty and has bits of avocado in it The tostada I had tasted like one I would have made at home. The ambiance was nice and very similar actual feel of Mexico. I recommend and would go back.

Always a great meal. Always consistent and authentic Mexican food. Best migas I've ever had and my best friend will be upset when she finds out I've said that! No alcohol here and that's just fine! Great enclosed patio seating. Waitresses are nice and attentive. Food is hot, salsa is hottter, and aqua frescas are ice cold and perfectly sweet. I will continue to direct all my customers here.
