El Jaripeo - Taco Truck

My favorite Taco spot in all of Utah! The Carne Asada tacos are the best! They have a cooler in the front for all the toppings and different sauces. Actual Spicy sauce, great customer service. They always thank you when you’re leaving. Haven’t been there in months and I came back last week and they still knew what order I tend to order. They have gained a customer forever!

This is my go to taco truck when I am in town for the Sundance Film Festival. The food is excellent; prepared well, served promptly and very affordable on a budget. Really what I think left an impression, for me, is the customer service. Even at 10:50 with 10 minutes to close the gentlemen working the truck are happy to serve, very accommodating and friendly. I cannot recommend El Jaripeo enough, truly one of the great bastions of laid back, delicious tacos here in SLC.

I had a taco craving so my son and ate at this taco truck for the first time. I'm Mexican and originally from California so I know what great tacos taste like. This is the best taco truck I've eaten here in Utah by far. The alpastor (spicy pork) and asada (steak) tacos were very good. My son's super burrito was HUGE. I got my food fast and the two guys working were so nice. I could not believe that I only paid the amount that I did for all the food I got - taco bell cost more. Definitely will be going back.

This was a great taco truck! The tacos were warm and tasted fresh. They had plenty of toppings available. Perfect for a chilly day. We’ll be back again.

super friendly and fast service. the food is amazing, I try something different every time I go there, haven't been disappointed by anything. no matter what food you get definitely try the mango juice! they have amazing salsa's too, but be careful a couple are actually spicy🥵 which, for me, is rare to get flavorful (not just hot actually distinct, unique) spicy sauces. highly recommend
