El Jefe Cafe

El Jefe Burrito offers exceptional service and an exceptionally friendly staff. The quality of their food is truly remarkable, and the prices are quite reasonable compared to other establishments. I highly recommend this restaurant, particularly for the exceptional quality of their lengua.

We were looking for a Mexican restaurant for my birthday. We found El Jefe Cafe, and I'm so glad we did. It's one of those mom & pop places that has great service & atmosphere. We were greeted the moment we walked in, the staff was extremely kind & respectful. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend their lemon margaritas, too. We will definitely be back.

Classic Mexican café, very fair prices, quality food and they do serve delicious fish & chips. Family owned & operated with pride, a bit off the beaten path, seek it out. Enjoy a real long term local San Clemente place.

just a quick stop feeling hungry..and surprised by delicious Beef and Lengua Tacos...with added cheese!!...the tacos were of good Size with 8 inch tortillas..

I order a breakfast burrito and was only matched potatoes in the burrito and the owner got super angry because I made a comment about the excess of potatoes in my burrito I’m Mexican and this restaurant is not a Mexican restaurant terrible food very bad experience
