El Juan Mariscos & Grill

We stopped by El Juan Mariscos & Grill on our way to Lake Waccamaw. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The Margaritas were delicious! The food had great flavor, the portions were huge and they had a variety of entrees. Erica was our server. She was prompt, professional and friendly! I would highly recommend this place!

Sergios burrito was good. My wife ordered the chimichongas; they were horrible. Dried out, chicken tasted old. I wouldn't go back. Maybe short staff. Waitress forgot to ask us what we wanted to drink. I had to go to bar and get my lady a pepsi. Wendy's would have been better

I have to edit my original review... Ordered fish tacos... Got fried fish on a tortilla... And the fish wasn't very good. Then when asked, they said that's the way a fish taco is!?!!! No... There's usualy a cabbage slaw that goes on a fish taco. Usually the food and service is good. But that... I'm not sure if I'll go back, if I do, I sure won't order a fish taco!

Easily the best food I’ve ever had.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted quickly. We ordered guacamole, churros, steak taco salad and elotes. These dishes were made well and had an authentic atmosphere. The guacamole is a bit salty. The churros took a bit longer then necessary which was a bit confusing. There were multiple orders that came out before the churros which we figured would have been done quickly. The fajita taco salad had steak and was delicious almost every bite and it came in a taco edible bowl. It was filled and well seasoned. The the lotus were satisfying and loaded with the creme sauce. More seasoning would have been nice. The other dishes were made very well. The taste was on point.
