El Manguito Restaurant

El Manguito Restaurant in North Hollywood is small restaurant very limited menu. They offer Salvadorean and Mexican food, it was my first time there, I ordered pupusas to begin with they were served cold, I've not much to say about this place honestly unless you're starving and craving salvadorean food while driving on Sherman Way Blvd it might be an option otherwise keep on driving. I definitely don't recommend this place.

Don't sleep on this place. The prices are reasonable. All pupusas taste really good. Yes, i've tried most of them. So far, i can say they serve the best Frijol and cheese Pupusas for all of the vegetarians out there. Also, if you order the queso con loroco, add jalapeños for a tasty kick. The breakfast plates are very good. The Marañon and Maracuyan are really good aguas frescas! Stop by and enjoy! Note: Don't add the chorizo to your breakfast, it's not worth it. It's a small burned piece. The sweet bread is not good n the coffee is light. Also, Service is good when both owners are working, typically in the morning. If theyvare not in youbwill be waiting a bit longer. But Both owners are very friendly!

This place was recommended and so far the best pupusas I can find for takeout. Plátanos Fritos, sopa de gallina , and natural juices are delicious too! Excited to try more items on the menu.

Pros: Delicious! They have two pupusa sizes: small and big. The small ones are 1.25 and the big ones are 1.75. The big ones are average size regular pupusas. I think the prices are really competitive because I've been to places that charge crazy prices like $3 + for a pupusa or so. They take credit cards which is a big plus for it being a small restaurant, the staff is friendly, and the orders come out relatively quickly. Also, I asked for pupusas to be packaged separately so I can take them for lunch the next day and they gladly did that for me -- providing me with a generous portion of curtido and salsa. Cons: none. If any, I'd say that it may be the very humble inner and outer appearance of the restaurant

The food here is so good I love their pupusas my friend brought me here it's so good I highly recommend this restaurant I believe it's a family owned restaurant small in a shopping center and and the food taste like its home made food. Again I highly recommend it.
