El Meson Restaurant

My experience was very bad due to employee is following supposedly protocol. You cannot ask for a specific meat. I want rice and beans and thighs and a drone stick. The employee said no they’re gonna have to overcharge me due to the policy of the owner. I asked for a manager there was no manager on site. I asked for a supervisor there’s no supervisor on site is just employee asked for the owner. The owner was not on site. I was so angry that I refused the service and the food. I was there with my family. we were all disappointed. I attach a photo to the comment about the meat that I wanted. It was beautiful. It was cooked gray, but they want to overcharged me for what I wanted. I just wanted a drumstick and a tie that’s it. They wanted to give me bones with no meat. I said I’m not paying f

I think I remember doing a review for this place years ago, and it was a great place. Now I think it's a different owner with a different cook. The food doesn't taste the same, and it's kind of on the colder side. The food gets cold very fast. If I'm not mistaken an about two minutes of getting the plate. I really don't recommend it anymore. I can't remember the name of the restaurant across the street from ShopRite, on the side of the toco bell. The food is much better and hotter there. I just stopped by because I was starving and wanted to eat. Maybe I should have waited and drove across town. I will not be returning to this place, and do not recommend it either, Not now.

Food is ok, comparing to What is available. Staff energy and vibe is very low. As if always on a slow mode. Forgot my credit card there. After calling restaurant and confirming it was still there, when I went back for it, no one seem to know where they placed it. No one willing to help. They just kept avoiding me and giving side glances towards me but no help at ALL. Finally said “ card must’ve been thrown out” After me telling them I would Be coming to Pick it up.

Today 9/2/22 i went to buy Lunch. Ive been liking the food from here. But after today. I wont go anymore. Is just disgusting to find a rubber band and meat still with animal hair. Sopa de mondogo i have had better soup of this kind much better in other restaurants. Couldn’t finish eating, couldn’t even finished the rabo with rice. Is just disgusting.

Absolutely the best Dominican food I have had in a while. As a truck driver it’s hard to find guaranteed good food but this time I’m so happy I walked to this spot. Super fresh and the workers are respectful and hilarious. I’ll be back!!!
