El Mexicano Restaurante & Cafe Bar

The best Mexican food I've had maybe ever. Very reasonably priced, the tostadas are particularly stunning and the burrito is unmatched. The staff is also very nice and the service is good. It's not fast, but that's probably because everything is made very fresh!

Came here with some family and didn’t think much of it before coming. But it was really good The juices are terrific, fresh and flavoursome. You can choose fruits- we did apple, pineapple, orange, carrot and ginger and it was excellent. We had chilaquiles, quesadillas, birria tacos, regular tacos, and enchiladas, with a good variety of proteins. All dishes came with beans and rice. Everything was delicious, fresh and easy to share. The sauces on top are great and made in house. It was also easy to hear each other talk. Ultimately I had an excellent dining experience here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone nearby and look forward to returning here with my family and friends when I am next in New York.

El Mexicano Restaurant and Cafe truly deserves a 5.0 perfect score rating. The staff are fantastic and helped explain all the meals. We chose several meals to share and really enjoyed the authentic Mexican flavours.

We came in for a Sunday evening bite to eat. No other customers, our server was quick and attentive. Margarita and Pacifico beers with lime were great, we had tacos and quesadillas which were delicious! Tortilla chips and guacamole was also spot on, with three different hot sauces. Prices were reasonable. Clean floors, tables, and restrooms.

Wow, I loved this place! It has delicious food: they definitely use fresh ingredients. The portions were generous, and the service was excellent. We were surprised to find a really large seating area hidden from the main view. We spent $20 and feasted like kings. Overall, we really enjoyed this place, Thank you!
