El Mezcal Mexican Restaurant and Tequila bar

Love the atmosphere... Love the salsa bar ... The food was good. I just they're trying to do too much, it was too much to choose from off the menu. Scale it down some and focus on making it more authentic.

Excellent food, lots of good options and they also have a salsa bar. The carne Asada wasn't cooked medium-rare as I requested, but honestly, the flavor, the service and everything else made it 5 stars anyway. I can't complain. THANK YOU! I'll be back

The service was terrible and the food wasn't good either. Ordered cheese sauce which was brought old to me cold. Ordered Biria Tacos which tasted totally different from every other place I've had Biria Tacos at. I only ate " some " of my food because I was really trying to like it. At the end of the meal, I asked if they could discount my meal because it wasn't good. The server said " uhhh, no I can't" so I asked if they were the Manager which they stated no. I asked for the Manager.... the manager never even came over to me to ask what the issue was or what was wrong with the food. I explained that I could afford the meal and wasn't looking for a free meal ticket .. but that a small check adjustment would have made me feel just a little better about the $30 I spent on a lunch tha wasn't

This was my first time at El Mezcal! I must say that the food and drinks were delicious. I ordered the seafood quesadilla that came with shrimp, tilapia, crab, along with cheese and peppers/onions. The portion size was nice and it also came with rice and a side salad (guacamole, lettuce, and sour cream). I also ordered a house margarita, but their sangria margarita is tasty too. I will definitely come back in the future!

This restaurant left an impression on me. The atmosphere was fun, the employees are very kind, and the food was amazing! I had the chicken soup and the best guacamole I’ve ever had.
