El Mezcalito Mexican Restaurant

A hidden gem! We went on a friend's recommendation. We got seated right away on a Friday night. The staff was excellent and fast. The salsa is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The food tastes fresher than many other places. The drinks are a little pricey, BUT they use fresh ingredients, fresh fruits, no mixes, just look at the pics. That's at least a 1/4 mango on that drink! There's 20 other Mexican restaurants closer to us, but this is our new home.

The wife and I have been exploring new restaurants whenever we visit a new city. We decided to try Mexican cuisine, and this place exceeded our expectations. The barlilia tacos were the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve had many from various places. The food was incredible, and the service was impeccable. If they maintain this level of quality, this restaurant could become a popular destination for those seeking Mexican food. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and want to express our gratitude for the wonderful service and delicious food.

All the food even chips extremely salty. (And I love salt) The cheese dip tasted spoiled. You could not taste the food because of the salt. My husband's food was the same way. After we left, with what little I ate of my food. I got a very upset stomach. It was like they were serving old food. We will not return!!

Awesome salsa and chips! Margaritas were huge and tasty! More food than we could eat. Had to get a to go box! Our first visit was great!

Excellent restaurant, very authentic, love the food and drink and atmosphere. Been to many places, this is by far the best we've been, drinks extra, special. No mixes, all fresh ingredients. Staff very helpful and friendly. We come from Iowa. So have bern several places on our travels, i would say this is our favorite!
