Started out good at our first visit. Each time since it's drop. Update. I have been back 4 times and they never replicated that first meal. They put broccoli and water chestnuts in their fajitas and this last time the food was so bland we just left it on the table. Completely disappointed in this place now. Came back again. :( bland. :( can't grill onions. No heat, no flavor. Carrots and potatoes, no grilling at all.
This is a no- go for me. I was hoping to find something close by my work place, but this was just terrible. Right at $10 spent here, and it wasn’t even close to worth it. This is their taco Tuesday tacos. That isn’t a taco. I don’t know what to call it. Super small and definitely not worth it. The steak quesadilla is flavor less and just plain bad. The rice was absolutely second day rice and not worth eating. I literally taste it and tossed it. The staff was helpful and nice which is why I’m giving 2 stars but for the food, definitely pass on this location.
So a few reviews said this place is authentic and I would have to disagree. The food is fresh and delicious but overall it lacks flavor and there's no spiciness to anything we ordered. Maybe there's a special spicy request that needs to be made? Highlights: - Beans and Rice were good - Generous portions - Affordable prices Drawbacks: - Poblano Relleno was inedible. It tasted like burnt egg and frying oil. - Guacamole Salad was only a smashed avocado with no seasoning. I'll definitely be back because sometimes you just order the wrong thing. And the potential is definitely there.
Food here is excellent. Prices are fairly good. The eating area is fairly small but it's never really busy there. Only one waitress seams to be working the area. They don't bring you a reciept to the table you just go to the counter to pay after eating.
Surprising experience...arrived to an empty parking lot. "Bad sign", you might think. So did I, but @ 2:30pm, in between lunch and dinner, I decided to "carry on". Turns out to be the best decision I've made about a restaurant in weeks. Friendly, attentive staff. Adjusted to my being "deaf" smoothly without being condescending. Ordered enchiladas, rice and beans, "to-go". Arrived home (10mins) and was delighted to find the food still hot and ready to eat. Visually attractive, aromas working well, dove right in. I've read other reviews about this restaurant, but have to say that when it comes to criticism about "flavors", there is only so much you can do with refried beans and rice! But I digress...I found everything to be delicious and worth the price paid, which is rare these days. I high
