El Nopal Mexican Restaurant, Eastern Pkwy

Food was real good. I had a shrimp cocktail and 3 beef tongue tacos with a large agua jamaica (hibiscus tea water). I wish they had a better salsa for the tacos. Overall restaurant is good in my books. Would definitely come back.

The food was good. The waiter was very nice and helpful with ordering.

My daughter and I shared the seafood soup. The picture looked great, the soup smelled and tasted so fishy, we couldn't eat it. The waiter asked about it and I told him it was horribly fishy & due to a language barrier, nothing came of it & I paid $18 for food I took a few bites of. My husband's chicken quesadilla was dripping with grease & underseasoned. We got no refills and sat with empty cups. There were 3 filled tables in the restaurant & 5 waiters. The salsa tasted fine but was so blended it was homogenous.

From the chips and salsa,tamales, to the burritos everything was impeccable. Our food was served piping hot and in a timely fashion we were delighted with the service that we had today. Highly recommend to stop at El Nopal! They even serve lunch on Saturday till three.

Food was very good. Servers are almost running from table to table. We were served quickly and respectfully. Music was a little loud which makes talking to someone a little difficult.
