El Nopalito

This is my favorite hub for Mexican food. The service is amazing. They always treat us like family here. The food is the best. I've tried almost everything on the menu here and have never had a single thing I didn't love. Great atmosphere. Calm and relaxing. A perfect little getaway. 11/10 recommend

The food here is ok, but the number of 5 star reviews surprises me. If the prices were cheaper here this would be a 4 star review. We tried 4 of this restaurant’s salsa options and these are my thoughts: regular salsa: it’s ok. Slightly smoky. Salsa Verde: my favorite of the ones we tried. It’s got a slight tang to it. Spicy salsa: more bland than the regular salsa but with a light kick Jalapeno cream: I wouldn’t dip chips into this one but I did enjoy it on the street tacos. Solid as a condiment. The street tacos taste like any other food truck taco you’ve tried. Not bad but nothing special. Small and underseasoned. I wouldn’t describe them as disappointing though. I would have tried the guac if it wasn’t $8 for slightly more than chipotle gives you. Make it cheaper or offer more g

It is a hidden gem in Kansas City, before taco Streatz now El Nopalito. The food is absolutely delicious and tastes truly authentic, just like homemade Mexican food. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and mouthwatering. Tacos, tortas, and quesabirrias are my favorite 😍 The service is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm, making you feel comfortable right away. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. If you’re looking for real Mexican food in Kansas City, El Nopalito is a must visit. I will definitely be coming back! 🙌🏻💜

Authentic and very good! I get the “El Mexicano Burrito” and it’s well portioned, well priced, and overall delicious. Your meal comes with a variety of salsas and chips. Would recommend!!

My husband and I were so sad when we saw Streatz close, but we’re so excited that it reopened under this new name!! Our favorite mexican food by far that we have ever had! the staff is always very nice too. Good prices for the amazing quality!
