The food was delicious 😋 and is not tex-mex . It was authentic Mexican food. The place has Mexico 🇲🇽 vibe in it. The owner greeted us and talked to us after we ate. He saw our plates were empty and he was happy about it .That means we were satisfied and full. It is affordable to dine here especially if you are in a budget like me . The server kept checking on us too. I definitely recommend this place. We went there weekday and it was not busy. They have 🎤 karaoke every Saturday too.
As a truck driver, my boyfriend and I, both truckers, make sure to eat natural food. Being a pescatarian, I prefer healthy options. I had corn tacos with onion, tilapia, and avocado. He had grilled chicken with rice beans and avocado, without cheese. Both dishes were delicious!
Food: 4/5 they have good portion of food. I loved their food. I’m a bit spicy lover so when I ordered fried jalapeño with cheese, it wasn’t spicy. Vegetarian dishes: 1/5 They just have one or two vegetarian dish. Service: 5/5 I loved how the owner came and talk to us about food. He was all friendly and happy. Staffs were all smiley. Atmosphere: 5/5 they had Halloween decorations. Music playing on tv. People were happily talking. Parking: 5/5 they have plenty, free parking. NOTE: They offer nachos and salsa as a complimentary dish. Their staffs don’t speak English but owner does.
I was recently recommended a spot that I’ve never even heard of and now I’m finding myself wishing I’d go restaurant exploring more often lol. Today I had the absolute pleasure of eating at El Norteño Mexican Restaurant. One thing that really stood out to me was the way I greeted when I first walked in. An older gentleman walked up to me and said hi as he stuck his hand out to shake mine. He then told me I could sit wherever I’d like. I later found out that he was the owner. Shortly after sitting down, I went over the menu and decided on an entree. The Enchiladas Suiza. They brought some chips and salsa out shortly before I ordered my food. The chips were excellent and so was the salsa. Not even 10 or 15 minutes after ordering and my food was already coming out. I jumped right in and I
