El Paso Public Library José Cisneros Cielo Vista Branch

This library has potential, but the staff noise is a real issue. The employees talk and laugh so loudly that it’s hard to study or even read. A library should feel calm, not like a break room. I’m not trying to be rude — it’s just very distracting and makes the space uncomfortable for patrons. I truly hope management addresses this, because many of us come here specifically for a quiet environment.

Great spot to find a book, jump on the net, or pick up a DVD for movie night. Very clean and new areas with lots of natural light, green views of the park and helpful staff. I love getting lost in the stacks in my neighborhood library!

The librarians are always very friendly. I love how they always have activities and events going on for the community. We love our library.

They don’t encourage a quiet reading atmosphere. At times the employees are loud. On 1-22-25 at 2:50 a male employee at the desk was speaking too loud on the phone. A patron of the library was watching videos and laughing loudly.
