El Pitayo Mexican Restaurant

Very slow service. Salsas are delicious but they give you a tablespoon or two worth in some large cups. So either they need smaller cups or more salsa! We both got tacos and the home made tortillas were delicious, but no flavor in the meat. They do not have anything but salt on the table. So we had to ask for extra salsa to give our tacos any flavor.

Came for lunch. I had the best shrimp burrito 🌯 I have ever had. This is definitely a hidden Gem. Hand-made tortillas are definitely made with love. Ended up ordering 2 more burritos to go bring your family and support this restaurant.

Lunch dine in first time here. Oh dear lord,...just the corn tortillas alone were amazing. I never eat restaurant tortillas but not these! I had the Mole plate with chicken and it was perfect. Not bitter or too sweet,...just right and very generous portion! I am totally coming here for Mex food from now on. I cannot believe how so much better it is than say Chipotle or other regular Mex places. It is 10xbetter!!

BAYBAY!!!! I am from Oakland, so I love a good burrito. Listen we were driving to Richmond 23rd street for good ones. I was soooo glad to find them. The food is fresh and yummy, not to mention you feel as tho you walked through their house when you eat there. I hate I didn't take any pictures but I have brought like 4 people with me and we all love it.

Total hidden gem. It's just of the fwy but worth it.We been there a few times now and have come multiple days in a row because it is so good. The breakfast menu is a little small, but that's all you need for perfection. EVERYTHING is made in house including the chorizo. I get the coffee De la olla without cream or sugar and it is still very good. Update- New location in the downtown are and still just as good with the same excellent service.
