El Pollo Loco

Terrible customer service on 2-22-26 at approx 530 pm lake Havasu site. Myself and a lady waited approximately 10 min at counter to order while staff just looked at us never greeting or telling us be right with you. The line behind us grew to 8 to 10 finally a guy took our order I told him this is crazy why it took this long to order he said he got busy I saw one car in drive up a only us in line I saw this guy also doing prep work when no one was in drive up I asked for a mgr a rude young Hispanic male said whatcha need I said I need a mgr he said I am I requested a senior mgr due to his lack of service and again a female Hispanic came up not addressing herself basically wasting her time attitude I told her I seen enough I want my money back as they did very sad how terrible everyone wor

Ordered meal and it turns out they have no chicken ready so now it’s a minimum 20 minute wait. Fine, figured we’d sit down while waiting for chicken to cook. Place is not busy at all and there are 3 couples sitting dining. There isn’t a clean table or spot to sit in the entire restaurant. Every area has food, rice, salsa or chicken on the table. As patrons look for somewhere to sit one can hear them say, “this place is a mess!” This is not an exaggeration. It is a mess and it is disgusting. It is 3/16/25 at 5:45pm.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Pollo Loco I recently visited Pollo Loco and had an extremely disappointing experience. First, the staff member at the drive-through had a noticeably poor attitude that made me feel unwelcome. Customer service is crucial during such interactions, and unfortunately, this was lacking. Moreover, I ordered a $15 burrito, expecting a satisfying meal, but it was far from what I anticipated. By the time I was halfway through, I couldn't finish it—it tasted horrible. If I didn't live so far away, I would have wanted to take it back and let the cook eat it. This is not a nice review, and I hope this was just an off day for them, but I won’t be returning based on this experience.

Ordered on the app, said I would get a free burrito...Nope! Lady at the counter said I had to come back tomorrow. No budging on her part. Food took 23 minutes to get, even though I ordered 15 minutes prior. Ordered breast, wing, beans and rice. I received all rice. No offer of pico or sauce... One younger lady said we have no pico, i asked another employee and she gave me 3. ?? Chicken wasn't fresh and the rice was saltier than hell. $16 for a lousy couple of bites. Deleting the app, won't be back here ever again!

What can I say? I love El Pollo loco! The food is great and reasonably healthy, the employees they have are top notch, always polite and punctual with the food. It's a great little place to have some lunch or dinner.
