A small language barrier, but awesome other than that. The food was really good.

Dont waste your money here. My wife and I just ate here and she left with a big stomach ache. The food was not cooked properly and even worst when we tried to bring it their attention they gave us many excuses. Not only is the food not good but the service is bad because the person in charge didn’t even come out to address the issue. The chicken felt very old, the rice was definitely undercooked, and the soup was just not good. I hope the owners are reading this and they make improvements because we’re definitely not coming back or recommending this restaurant.

It is hard for me to say what is authentic Salvadorean cuisine; however, El Pulgarcito offers many choices not found in other restaurants. If you want fast service, arrive early in the morning. This place tends to fill up all of a sudden, and especially when there are futbol matches that are important or classics. Atol chuco, AKA Atol negrito, is my favorite drink. There is a $1 charge when you pay with a credit card and there is no way to tip waitresses except with cash.

Very disappointed, took long to be served, served me the wrong plate, all portions size of kid's meal, food not too good, for this place to be located in the heart of salvadorean community. My breakfast plate and one coffee almost $ 30.00 😐 i feel robbed. Don't go this place, don't even try it. Dont give away your hard earned money.
