El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant Lake Wales Fl

First time eating here and will definitely be coming back. The food was seasoned and the portions a good. The service was great. Recommend you to try it out for some delicious Mexican food

Newest Mexican style restaurant in the area. This is definitely set up as a casual, family friendly atmosphere. A big plus is that (after several visits), there always seems to be ample staff on hand. The owner is always around and likes talking to customers. Overall, just a good feeling when visiting here. A similar restaurant on the north side of town has equally good food and service. However, they are clearly set up as a "fine dining" Mexican restaurant - and priced accordingly. If you want a good casual style Mexican Restaurant - give El Ranchito a try.

This was the smallest tamale I have ever had. For almost $5. It does not even taste like a tamale. Drenched in super spicy sauce.. I just wanted the tamale. My family tried it and it was mushy and nothing but sauce. Unfortunately, there was no seasoning in the food. We will pass on this place. Will say the sauces were good.

Excellent experience. Chips and salsa were brought out with our drinks. We ordered lunch. Burrito meal was phenomenal. Extra amount of chicken with a side of yummy beans and rice. Supreme burrito was covered with cheese sauce and all the extra toppings on the side. Yuridia, our server, was very attentive and kind. Overall, it was a great value with delicious food and upbeat atmosphere. Will definitely be our new go to in Lake Wales.

Visited for the first time as the location is newer to the area. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and we were a party of 5. Service was very efficient and fast. However, the food did not meet the same level of service. The chips tasted like they had been fried in old oil and the horchata was sour tasting but they did replace it for something else. I had the flautas and the taste was the same as the chips like they had been fried in old oil. Nobody really liked their food and mentioned it was very plain and mediocre. Kind of bummed because we love Mexican food and would have love a new place closer to town. Unfortunately, don’t plan on returning based on this first impression. Maybe we’ll give it a try someday.
