El Rancho Tex-Mex

Nice little restaurant with good food. People are nice and friendly. Place is clean. My food was good. They have good corn muffins. Also potatoes salad was good. My brisket wasn't really good. It was hard to bite and little bit rubbery. Coleslaw was good. Also they have great sandwiches. Good atmosphere inside.

Counter service in a strip small with only a few tables. No alcohol. No ribs. Beef BBQ sandwich was very flavorful. But the pulled pork was served cold.

This was my first time visiting this particular location. I stopped in for lunch today and it was pretty much the same experience as the others, with one exception. This location does not have a fryer. They said it made the temperature in the restaurant too hot inside, so no French fries, hush puppies, etc. Something to keep in mind if you plan on going to this location. Instead, I opted for the mac & cheese and breading pudding. Both were pretty good. Mac & cheese could have been a little cheesier for my taste. Otherwise, same great barbecue. My Virginia BBQ sandwich was PACKED full of meat. Also, seating is limited if you plan to dine in during busy hours.

Hospitable location, though small. The sandwich was delicious, and packed with lots of meat so you feel like you're getting your money's worth. The mac and cheese is alright, but I wouldn't order it again, as they use white cheddar and it's kind of bland. The banana pudding is good--they use real bananas--but it's not the best I've had.

Wow, had a combo. BIG sandwich. Plenty of frues. Nice cashier, reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more. Only drawback, limited seating. I'll be back ! Picture of what i left on my plate
