El Rio De Paz

1st time trying this spot. I usually get pupusas up the street. Wanted to try a new spot. Ordered 1 pupusa to try and I was not disappointed. I'm mexican yet like Salvi pupusas. So I ended up enjoying it. I ordered 5 to-go. Besides the typical non spicy sauce they have a homemade HOT sauce which usual spots don't provide. Salvis don't eat spicy foods. I'm glad they cater to a Mexican paladar, hence the spicy sauce. It takes time to prepare fresh hot food, so don't complain about "it taking forever to get the food" recommend it. I didn't take pics before, I only have an after pic. If I wouldn't have enjoyed, I would have not ate it.

Wooow I went the other day and they did copy the recipe of beans and other food from Armandos restaurant in South El monte. It's sad how they can't come up with there own recipes. If you guy's want REAL MEXICAN FOOD GO TO ARMANDOS RESTAURANT AT 9611 Garvey ave suite126 South El monte,Ca 91733

Food is not cooked well, personally I look for authentic flavors. And to me no cheese in either one. The beans inside taste very oily and no flavor. They start from 3.25$ every day except Thursday special is 2.25$. But smaller per cook.

First time here and not returning I suggest the same they really do some shady stuff here to the food. What I order and what I got.
