El Sazon Boricua

Visiting Jacksonville we came across this place that has amazing AUTHENTIC Puerto Rican food. They make it on the spot so everything is fresh and very flavorful. They also have a variety of natural drinks. Nice atmosphere, good music and the owners are very welcoming. Food portions are excellent we even had leftovers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you’re looking for a great home cooked meal! 1000 out 10!

Really cool find, they have a daily menu but TBH I glanced at a few and loved everything I saw so I took a gamble. Man I'm glad I did the daily feature was pollo guisado (con maduros), what I was secretly hoping for!! It took maybe 7-8 minutes and I got a to-go contain FULL of deliciousness. The stewed chicken was falling off the bone, the rice and beans were delicious and my favorite, the plantains. Soft, sticky, sweet, what a treat!! Will definitely go back, prices are very reasonable!

Came to visit my niece Karol this Friday, she took me to this food truck. I ordered pork chops with rice (arroz con gandures) & sweet plantains. The food was customized to my likings. It was delicious. Guys are very friendly and diligent. The natural juices are something else, very tasty and homemade. Very soft on sugar. Today, we returned to eat “alcapurrias, empanadillas de carne, sorullos de maiz con queso,” and tonight we are eating chicken soup, also. All was amazing and having that authentic Puertorican flavor. I will come again to visit and I’ll be there visiting and eating with Steve and Jonathan! Merry Christmas, guys! Thanks Karol for taking me to this place.
