La Empanada Loca — A Taste of Puerto Rico in South Florida! 🇵🇷 Authentic Puerto Rican food right here in South Florida! This casual, unassuming spot serves up the real deal. We kicked things off with a couple of Medallas (when you know, you know 😉) and some empanadillas — the beef one was on point! Then came the Pastelón Burger (OMG 🤤) and Chicharrones de Pollo — finally, someone gets them right! Served with perfectly made arroz y habichuelas, just like home. We wrapped it all up with a cortadito (of course — duh!) and bizcocho de novia. The cake was a bit on the dry side, but the flavor was there… maybe I’m just spoiled by the homemade ones 😅. Add some tropical music and great company, and you’ve got yourself a little slice of Puerto Rico. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re missing
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ El Sazón de Puerto Rico Food Truck If there’s a food truck that deserves its own brick-and-mortar restaurant, it’s this one. The food is incredible. I found this place by pure luck, and the first bite of the arroz con longaniza instantly took me back to my abuelita’s house in Puerto Rico — truly authentic, homemade flavor. The staff is amazing as well. Karina, the owner, is extremely friendly and welcoming. You feel like family the moment you walk up. Hands down the best authentic Puerto Rican food around. Do yourself a favor and try it — you won’t be disappointed.
We were blown away by this restaurant! The food was truly authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service was exceptional; our waiter was so attentive and welcoming. They even brought us extra dishes to try, which was such a thoughtful touch. The owner came over to our table to say hello, and his kindness really made our visit feel special. We left so happy and impressed. We’re from New York and unfortunately don’t have Puerto Rican restaurants this good back home, so this place was a real treat. We can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Miami!
If you want to try delicious Puerto Rican food head over to Doral, FL, and try El Sazón de Puerto Rico. That mamposteao rice was wao! Carne frita on point and soft and moist mofongo (Just needed some chicharron). We love everything we have and we also like that everyone was nice. Great customer service.
Best Puerto Rican food I've had here in Miami!!!! The surullitos were a little too gummy and hard I think too much sugar in the mix. But def tasted amazing even they were like that .. alcapurrias were full of meat unlike some places that have a thin line down the middle. The empanadillas were amazing! The star of the show was the pionono empanadillas! Second would have to be the alcapurias. Going back soon to try more stuff from the menu. They didn't have morcillas that day. I wish they had cuchi Frito! I miss that the most from pr.
