We were really disappointed with our experience. My fiancé paid extra for extra meat, but the portion looked the same as a regular serving. When we brought it to the manager’s attention, nothing was done to resolve it. No remake, no refund, no effort to make it right. Compared to LA locations, the portion sizes here are noticeably smaller. If customers are paying extra, they should actually receive it. I will not come back to this location.

Had the pleasure of visiting Tacos El Sobrino in the city of Downey, CA. I've been enjoying their food for years from a their location off of 54th Street and Central where they sell Excellent Tendon Tacos. Now, they have this Brick and Mortar location. I had the Birria Ramen and a Tendon Taco. Everything was delicious! Will be back again.

Bought the menudo today and took it home. It was very delicious and cooked how we like it. Definitely coming back. It’s a small little place and they only accept cash or zelle . The only BUT is not taking more menudo home. The young gentlemen were friendly.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try on Sunday. By far the best quesatacos I've had in the Downey area. The meat was tender and delicious! Great flavor! I will definitely come back.
