El Tablon Restaurant

The food is absolutely amazing, just like as if you are in the Dominican Republic. The owner was super welcoming. I absolutely love the mango with fried cheese, fried egg, the empanada and the sweet plantains- maduros. Wishing you all the best and can’t wait to come back to have more authentic amazing Dominican food!

We received menus in the mailroom of our apartment building for El Tablon around the time they were opening. Out of curiosity, my boyfriend and I decided to see if it was worth checking out. I'm happy to share that the food is very good and that we have ordered several times since our first (probably more than I'd like to admit). The reason I give a 3 star review (when I would've liked to give 5) is because we noticed that the business seemed to be continuously figuring out how they'd like to portion or share their food via delivery. Now, I have absolutely no problem with that, except that this has now affected the portion of the grilled fish I order every time. It has dramatically changed, if I'm being honest. Really tasty and authentic Dominican food. I had the beef stew and platanos with garlic sauce. Perfect place for fast to-go food. Reasonably priced and generous portions so I'll be back again.

We went there coming from Dallas,TX and the food did not disappoint. The chicken was fall off the bone and the oxtail was out of this world. The best food we've had the entire trip to NEW YORK.

Love this place, whenever I get a chance I drop in. The food is delicious and fresh, very tasty too. The employees are very nice. The servings are just the right amount for the money and family friendly Restaurant highly recommended!!!
