El Taco Veloz Dayton

We have been loyal customers here since Las Margaritas shut down. We have always been happy with our experience until today. We ordered a large cheese dip and cheese to go for the Super Bowl this evening. We got home and this is what they gave us. This is a small cheese dip and chips. My husband took it back up and they said this is their large and charged us $13 for this. We always order a medium when we go and still have some to take home. I can order a whole meal for less than this. It is safe to say we are on the hunt for a New Mexican restaurant.

Super friendly and kind staff, awesome tacos, good atmosphere. We went for taco Tuesday which is a pretty good deal! I like the carnitas tacos the best. A group in the other booth was really rude to the waiters and complained loudly about some nonsense, seemed like a failed attempt to get a free meal. It was unfortunate to see some people act like animals, but what can you do. Definitely worth a visit.

This is, by far, the best tasting and value Mexican restaurant in Montgomery county. I have enjoyed Mexican food all my life from Homestead, Fl, San Diego, Ca, CDMX (Mexico City ❤️) and Cabo San Jose. It doesn't get as authentic and honest as it does here. Service is wonderful and the drinks are strong. Outstanding surprise

It is located in a large older shopping center. There are several different ways to get in. Traffic in the area can get heavy at times. Service was fast and simple, nothing really special. The chips and cheese were great, and the food arrived timely. I thought it was a little hot, almost like the AC wasn't working properly. The food tastes alright, nothing too special. The portion size was on the bigger side.

First time at restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing and it was Tuesday so the special was 2 dollar tacos. Tacos were fresh and a good size. Our food came out in a timely manner. They have a special for every day of the week. I would highly recommend.
