El Tacuate Mexican Restaurant

If you're looking for real authentic Mexican food in Atlantic City, this place is a must-visit. The food tastes homemade and full of flavor — not watered down or Americanized. The food was incredible! You can tell everything is made fresh and seasoned the way it should be. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, giving it that true neighborhood restaurant feel rather than a touristy vibe. Service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were very very generous for the price. Overall, this is one of the few places in Atlantic City where you can find genuine Mexican flavors that remind you of real street food. ⭐ Highly recommend if you want authentic Mexican food.

Daughter and i here from Trenton in a karate tournament. Decided to get some tacos. I chose carne (steak) she got pollo (chicken). Really good both. Would def eat again

I was in Atlantic City for a concert and had heard good things about El Tacuate Mexican Restaurant. Thankfully, we decided to check it out! It's a small, unassuming spot with a welcoming vibe. We dined in and ordered chips and salsa to start, followed by al pastor tacos and chicken fajitas. Everything was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and generously portioned. The tacos were packed with perfectly seasoned meat, and the fajitas came out sizzling and loaded with toppings. I'd definitely dine here again next time I'm in town.

I’m from Southern California visiting. I think it’s always hard to find that good “authentic” Mexican food. This spot was pretty good! Jamaica agua was delicious, chips were fresh and good (not greasy) and the burrito was so filling. Couldn’t eat it all. Loved the little salad it came with Little small cute mom and pop restaurant; I’d come back. Thank you for the delicious food!
