El Taquito Kitchen (Food Truck)

This used to be the best taco truck in the area. I can’t wait to the Taco Stand opens at the neighborhood!!!! Every single visit the past 6 months, I got less meat on my quesadilla and burrito. I usually scaled the burrito at home and they took 100g less of the weight. Also some nights they even can clean the flat top to make a nice quesadilla. They're just stealing from us. Stay away from here!! You just going to get a spoon of meat from $15. The guys working there they’re nice.

I come here pretty frequently since I live just a couple blocks away and visit JR's weekly. The tacos are wonderful - I always get chicken and campechanos, but plan to try the beef fajita someday. Quesadillas and machetes are delicious. Burritos are so loaded you can make two meals out of them! Service is always so friendly (even when they've had to deal with the rude and entitled weekend crowd that comes to the neighborhood to get drunk and act poorly... those are most of the people leaving negative reviews). If you want great tacos at a good price, and your parents taught you manners, give this truck a try!

These tacos used to be so good. I used to get them all the time. I hadn’t been there in a while. The last few times haven’t been a good experience. Between the mean girl who works the register and the food being served unfresh and unappetizing. I gave them a break. I randomly got the craving for these tacos today. I drove more than 30 minutes just for me to receive this nasty mess. I drove all the way home and I had work early in the morning so I couldn’t drive back. I’ve gotten the Tony’s tacos many many times and never have they been this gross looking. The meat color is supposed to be vividly redder, idk how long these avocados were out and placed on my plate and the food was barely warm. I paid in cash so I can’t get a refund and I damn sure ain’t driving back that far.

If you haven’t been to El Taquito Kitchen yet… you’re missing out. The staff works their asses off and are genuinely so kind every single time. You can feel the care they put into the food. And the tacos?? Best thing on the menu! Highly recommend

Excellent veggie tacos and great service. One of my best memories from my Houston trip, as the taco truck is right next to a bar with a lot of lgbtq people who said some pretty funny things.
