El Tequila Mexican Restaurant & Bar Mcalester

We recently dined at this restaurant and were impressed with the friendly host. Although we asked to move tables due to a flickering light, our server was happy to accommodate us. We ordered the fajitas and whole tilapia, which exceeded our expectations. The fish was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and juicy underneath the skin, without any fishy smell. As I'm not typically a fan of Mexican food, I'm thrilled to have discovered this restaurant. The quality and flavor have changed my mind, and I can't wait to return.

Food was very sub par. I believe taco bell would be a very good comparison as far as the food goes. The service was great, the atmosphere was good as well, the food was definitely lacking this time.

We stopped and got the lunch fajitas. Delicious! Nice serving. Great price. So good we stopped the next time through town and ate the fajitas again.

The food was not that good. We asked for spicy hot sauce but the waitress didn't bring it till our food came out. The atmosphere was great and so was the price. However food lacked quality.
