El Terco is an absolute gem for seafood lovers. The dishes are incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I like the ambience of this place, it is an authentic Mexican seafood restaurant vibe in the RGV. The portions are generous without sacrificing quality, and you definitely get your money’s worth. The seafood tastes fresh, the sides complement the main dishes well, and everything feels thoughtfully prepared. It’s rare to find a place that balances value and quality this well, especially with seafood. I have tried pretty much every other seafood place in McAllen but I always find myself back here, they say you always return to where you were once happy and I always find myself returning to this restaurant. Daniela is a great server and she is always quick with the refills and attentive to see if I need anything else. I highly recommend you try this place if you have not already.
