Arguably the best tacos in Eugene/Springfield. Generous opening hours, excellent prices, and the real deal when it comes to street taco flavor. You’re missing out if you don’t check El Trenecito out!
Birthday tacos 🌮 are a tradition This year we tried El Trenecito. A long awaited visit since they are not open every day, and we usually miss them, or drive by when they are open but we are on errands. Wow. Amazing carnitas. I got the quesadilla. So good. The little baggies of sauce are reminders of my wilder days. Street parking only.
The carne asada tacos were so good that one bite made me cry from sudden homesickness. If you're a transplant from down south like me, and you've wondered where the authentic food is in town - this is it. I'd rate ten stars if I could.
Best Mexican food in the Eugene / Springfield hands down! Love this spot! I always get the carne asada tacos with the green sauce. You can’t go wrong with pretty much anything at this spot. Keep up the great work!
