El Tropico Cuban Cuisine

This Cuban restaurant was delicious! We were seated right away and there were ample seating options inside the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and brought us Cuban bread with butter to enjoy for the table along with plenty of water for refills. The empanadas here were absolutely incredible and we enjoyed 3 (beef, chicken and ham/cheese) as well as ham croquetas. The ham and cheese empanada was definitely the best and everything was served perfectly warm. Highly recommend the churrasco with chimichurri and it paired very well with white rice and black beans. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender as well. The lechon asado was also incredible! There is also a separate bar for drinks but we did not order any alcoholic beverages. I would give 6 stars if I could. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. I told the server what I like and she recommended a dish that both my wife and I loved. My wife got a steak and it was cooked perfectly. The sauces they served on the side were delicious.

My dining experience at Cuban Cousin Restaurant was truly exceptional thanks to the outstanding service of Omar and Osmani. From the moment we walked in, the staff created a welcoming atmosphere. Omar was incredibly knowledgeable, offering fantastic recommendations from the menu. He went above and beyond, ensuring every need was met.At the end of the dinner we also ordered desert and Omar brought with a beautiful touch ( on the picture below). I highly recommend this restaurant for a top-notch dining experience! Excellent Service!!!!

El Tropico is one of the classic Cuban restaurants in South Florida. The cortadittos are heavenly. Recently the adorable Leanett prepared ours with such LOVE that we had to share the photos and the spirit. We’ve loved the food, the atmosphere, the staff and the relaxed happy vibe for many years. Highly recommended! A media noche sandwich and a cafe at the counter - yummy : )
