El Warike de Juan Diego

The Peruvian food here is very authentic and delicious. We ordered lomo saltado and a trío (chaufa, fried fish, ceviche), and both myself (non-Peruvian) and my Peruvian husband really enjoyed it. We went around 1pm on Sat, and some customers were already drunk in the convenience store (where the eatery is located), creating an interesting vibe… The table was also dirty & didn’t get cleaned up after we sat down. The chef recently opened a restaurant in Manassas. If you care about the dining environment, El Warike in Manassas has a better environment. Food on both sides are equally delicious!

This place has awesome food . Order the ceviche mixto ( seafood) I was surprised with the flavor and the ingredients being very fresh .

This place is a hidden gem 💎! I gave it 3 in atmosphere because we had to go in circles trying to find the location. It is inside a convenience store tucked in a corner behind the product isles! Overall food, quality, taste where awesome, outstanding I actually don't have words to describe how delicious this food made at this whole in the wall place is. They have a pretty extensive menu, but incredibly all food is prepared from scratch, tastes so good and it's seasoned to perfection 👌. I'll recommend this place 😋 💯. No drinks though, they have to be purchased from the convenience store side! But don't let that discourage you it's worth the try!

This might be it fellow Peruvians, I tried the escabeche from the menu today and it tasted like grandma’s, I wouldn’t be surprised if the move to a bigger location soon specially if they reach a wider audience.

Great tasting food. Not a typical restaurant. Limited seating. I would eat there again.
