To require an appointment for Vital Statics is completely unreasonable, especially when the office itself is practically empty. The entire process of filling out the paperwork, submitting documents, and signing should take no more than 15 minutes. Yet, residents are forced to wait over three weeks just to secure an appointment. This morning, I deliberately sat for an hour and a half to observe how many people actually entered that office between my arrival opening and 10 a.m. only three, two were provided service and one was turned away for not having a scheduled appointment. That clearly shows that the workload does not justify the extended wait times.
