Elk Grove Sports Bar & Grill

In fairness, we went on a pretty big game day... please keep that in mind. However, the food was not very good at all. The burgers were super greasy without much flavor. My friend ordered a Philly cheese steak which came out as a French dip. Not sure if it was a mistake or a "version" of their own making. It wasn't good either. The fries were cold and a bit stale. The service was super nice, but super slow. Again, super busy the day we went in. They do have several screens for sports which is nice and there was a nice neighborhood feel to the place.

The bar tender and waiter, Shelby, was EXTREMELY nice and he served us quickly and has an amazing attitude. I could tell the regulars at the bar loved him and my boys and I had a great experience. His shift was over before we left and he made sure we were ok prior to leaving and his sister took over and she was be polite.

Heard this was a perfect restaurant to try out some good catfish so I ordered the combo I upgraded the fries from regular to the beer battered fries and I was not disappointed it was very delicious. I chased it down with a Kentucky mule... I must’ve come at the right time because it was not too busy and there was projector with a main screen and multiple flat screens to watch all the good sports games that were being played... The menu has a lot of food choices it was hard to make a decision but I went with my priority choice because it was recommended to me word-of-mouth... The gentleman next to me was kind enough to let me take a picture of his food that he ordered since it was taco Tuesday...

I'd love to say, "Thank you" to our server/bartender, Lisa H. She was very polite, attentive, and caring for her customers. My brother and I appreciate everything she did. We shall return, again. 👍🏾

10/16/2022: We just arrived home from a trip, and wanted to catch the 49ers game, so we dropped into this establishment. For a sports bar, it wasn't very busy. The servers were friendly, but there were only 2 people, so they were busy running around to help us all. Hubby had the double herd burger with fries and I had the Clubhouse sandwich with fries. We also shared an order of onion rings. The food was great! The burger was huge, with the patties being the actual size of the bun. Plus, it was loaded with fresh veggies. My club was huge too! There was a nice amount of turkey and cheese, and veggies were crisp and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised that the fixings went from edge to edge, so you had a nice bite of everything throughout the entire sandwich. The fries were nice and crispy a
