Elmer's Restaurant (Downtown Hillsboro, OR)

We arrived shortly after 9:30 am on a Saturday morning. Even though the restaurant was busy, we were seated right away. There are booths and tables with chairs. There are highchairs available too. It was a little loud with it being a full restaurant, but that's okay, a full restaurant is good. All the employees were friendly and welcoming. There is a fireplace, the fire was going which made the room warm, then the cool air would come on. We ordered our food, I had the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, they came with eggs and a meat of your choice. I also had a side of hash browns. My dining partner had the Hungry Rancher Breakfast, that was eggs, hash browns, bacon, a biscuit and ham slices. The oj has pulp. I had coffee with half and half. Good food, breakfast anytime, came in with my group about 45 minutes before close. No problem getting seated and service was outstanding. Never felt any pressure and food and drinks came out in good time with all orders correct. Drinks and refills continued to flow with no push to hurry our table away for close. From service through closing the tab, all in our party were very pleased. Definitely, we will be back. Not the fanciest place but clean and great service.

01/29/2025 (Tue) One of our favorite places since our days in Hillsboro, we’ve been here many times. After a long time away, we came back and enjoyed the Looking for Sun Omelette ($17.29) and the Garden Vegetable Omelette ($17.29), along with coffee for a relaxing time.☕☕ 02/20/2025 (Thu) We had the Farmer’s Omelet ($17.29) and the Florentine Omelet ($17.99), swapping the included biscuit for French toast (+$0.99), along with coffee ($4.29x2). The Hollandaise sauce on both omelets really enhanced their flavor, making them absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, our food didn’t arrive for over 30 minutes, and we only realized it because two tables that ordered after us received their meals first. We came by on Sunday around 11am for brunch and had Cindy as our waiter! It was quite busy, so obviously it was packed and the such. But amazing service from her, and great food! If you're looking for a satisfying brunch with good portions and a comfortable atmosphere, this place is for you!

Regina our server early this morning around 6:30 was amazing! She got us seated right away, grabbed our food, made sure our coffee was filled and checked in with us to see how we were doing. Even saw her have a cup of coffee ready for a regular right when he walked in. Such a wonderful experience. She needs more pay because she has amazing customer service and just made my husband's birthday breakfast so wonderful.
