Elmer's Restaurant (Parkrose, Portland, OR)

Oh man I *need* one of these near where I live. SO much better than any IHOP or Denny's! I wanted to try everything on the menu. 😅 I really don't think you can go wrong here. Absolutely delicious.

We came in for breakfast around 8am with a group of 4 adults. The restaurant was steady, but not busy, so we were immediately seated. Ashley our server was beyond amazing. So sweet and helpful. She’s definitely a seasoned server. The food was the best we had while visiting for 4 days, and we ate out every meal. Everything was 10/10.

Stopped by Elmer’s and it gave more of a diner feel. Service was just okay. I had an omelette it was fine, nothing special. The drink was overpriced and looked half full, which was disappointing. On the plus side, the pancakes were tasty and they do have parking, but overall it seemed like a basic restaurant with basic meals.”

We’ve been traveling a lot across the U.S. over the past three years, and it’s kind of our thing to try pancakes and crepes everywhere we go. At this place, I ordered every single pancake and crepe from the menu — and oh my god, they were the best I’ve ever had in my life. Absolutely perfect! The German pancake with strawberries and the Cinnabon pancakes were so insanely delicious it should be illegal! 🤤🥞💥 Also, the service was excellent — super fast and attentive. Loved everything about this place! 💯✨ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a lovely breakfast here. No wait time during the week around noon. Service was excellent. The food was really good and all tasted homemade. The biscuit and pancake were excellent. Chicken fried steak was perfect.
