The chicharrón is the star, featuring a crunchy exterior and juicy interior. It's often paired with sides like tostones (fried plantains), yucca, or rice and beans. Customer service experiences vary. I have had good services in person but for phone sometimes is not good. Patience may be required for a good service. Otherwise the food is excepcional. For Dominican food fan is a good place.

Been here in PA for about 3 months now and I want to eat at a good Spanish food spot. Found Elsa la Reina by way of Google. It's a Dominican style restaurant where the food is cooked and on display like most Latino Cuchifrito spots. Nothing too fancy to eat, white rice with red beans and pork shoulder,(pernil) with 2 pieces of fried yuca. The yuca was a little bland and different from how I typically eat it. The pork was a bit greasey but flavorful filling. The rice and beans were just fantastic. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was very cozy and had a almost NY Cafe feel to it. Paid about $18.00 after tax for my meal and their in-house home made lemonade. I went with the regular but they had kiwi, guava, strawberry and Tamarindo. Great thing

The food was fresh and delicious! The customer service was also very good, they made you feel like family. Definitely would recommend and come again, they have a really diverse menu with a lot of options.

Food is great, good variety. The best chicharron in the area.

The English they don’t comprehend English well and they give you more rice than anything else. It’s like you’re paying for just rice.
