Elsie's Burgers and Shakes

Welp yet another food adventure in lovely Gloucester and it was like a step back into time like even my bro thought so with how they had the candy set in the jars and then the milk shakes and burgers. I stopped here before but that was to go this time I stopped by for breakfast and ate in. I had split the breakfast smash, The Buddy and cheese curds cause they are a must. Everything was amazing and I was ready to pop when I was done. Drinks was amazing as well we got coffees he got a cold brew cinnamon French Toast and I got the same but warm and tasty it sure was. That breakfast smash burger was amazing and if you like tasty spicy stuff it comes with a really good pepper! Elsie’s Burgers and Shakes is tucked away on a quiet street and a must if you’re looking for sweet treats, delicious burgers or great atmosphere. The ladies here are very friendly and I always love the feel of a Mom and Pop shop. I sunk my teeth into the burger and it was like taking a little bite of heaven. I’m so glad I looked at this place up.

Great food. Great service. Cute, clean place! I Have ordered here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Last time I ordered I HAD to get the "dont be cheesy" burger after I read the description. Its 2 burgers with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as the bun, it was amazing. I really liked their fries too very simple very good. I have gotten milkshakes as well and their smores ice cream is by far the best smores Ice cream I think I've ever had. Tried a few of their baked goods as well. U definitely need to try the oatmeal cookies and the banana nut bread👌. Prices aren't bad either.

Lovely, family owned place. They have a small lunch counter that we ate at but it's mostly take out. The turkey club with the fried turkey really hit the spot. And, this is definitely a place where you save room for dessert! There were so many fun ice cream flavors that it was hard to narrow down our order.

What a gem of a place! I kept seeing posts for this Elsie's pop up on Facebook, and it looked great. My mom grew up a block away, so I knew I had to take her. We all went for lunch today, and I can't wait to go back. The store front was cute, the decor inside was adorable, and we were kindly greeted immediately. My son was super indecisive, but everyone was incredibly patient. Once the food came, I was blown away. My son and I got burgers, which were fantastic, and the milkshakes were so fancy! My mom loved her chicken fingers and onion petals, and my husband got a burger in between two grilled cheese sandwiches. There is candy for sale by the bag, dirty sodas, and tons more options I can't wait to go back and try. If you haven't been, you're truly missing out. Cards are accepted. Prices
