I would love to shout out Erica the amazing staff member that conducts the sensory play and story times here. I had a rough moment with my toddler today and she took her time and calmed us both from crying. She made me feel cared about in that moment and even made sure to accommodate my baby so he could have a great rest of the time in our class. I’ve never been treated with such kindness, especially since becoming a mom. It’s a beautiful thing that libraries are able to give us these spaces and even better to have people like this that run them. Cant wait to come back.

I have been visiting this branch for over 2 years now and always had a pleasant experience. However today, I was harassed by the staff while taking care of some work even the branch manager Sheila was very rude and even threaten me if I did move out to the lobby area. I have been going to libraries all my life and never experienced at all. I was taking a work call on my computer and I only spoke twice and it was at a very low tone where no one can hear me at all. The staff keep circling around me while I was on a Zoom call and tried to touch my things. I would not recommend visiting this location and would ask that Dekalb County investigate on how they handle situations such as this.
