(EMERALD BAY FOOD HALL ONLY NOT CASINO!) Tonight my partner and I went to Emerald Bay Food Hall and ordered 2 pork chops and rice. When we picked up the pork chop order from the Vietnamese section my partner asked for some hoisin sauce. The woman who worked there with a dyke hairstyle (spikes and manly) raised her voice and said “why do you need this??!!! You did not order Pho!”. My partner even offered to pay for the sauce and she continued to yell at him. We had no issues with Emerald Bay Food Hall before they were extremely nice and accommodating but this is the first time we have seen this employee. This employee must be new. Please teach your employees some respect 🫡 and humbleness.
Very confusing ordering process. Cafeteria style with separate stations for different Asian cuisines. Great concept….just poorly organized. Tried their Hot and Sour that tasted like it may have been cooked with a dirty sock. Also had a spicy tuna roll that was not spicy and tasted like the fish may not have been fresh.
While I was excited to finally try Chef Lee's amazing style of Asian delights, I was thoroughly Disappointed in the presentation of the front of the house and the overall feel. When we walked in I was looking for the Kiosks to order but all of them were not working. We were looking for King crab but since we could not order using the Kiosk we had to grab a menu, one of many just tossed around like napkins in the breeze. I mean they were all over the counters and tables. Ordering became a bit tedious as there was no one to ask questions to? the two employees working the registers were more interested in talking to each other rather than asking us if we needed help. The pictures of the food at each station are worn and tattered. They really need to be replaced. The overall feel was terrible
It's inside the casino. Foods are pretty expensive. I bought 2 pastry and couldn't believe I paid $16 for 2. Same pastry goes for $1.75 at Foxwoods. Chinese entree was $28 for orange chicken.
I don't know why people expect so much service from a self serve ordering place. There are HUGE kiosks and you pre-pay for your food. There are different categories and regions for your food. They have HUGE screens that show your food is being prepared and then ready. What are people going to do when AI takes over? Anyway, I love the food here...I always get the duck noodle soup with Ho Fun Noodles. I've had the pho and it's also great. Yes it's $25 but people throw $25 on a table to lose in a second? I don't get it. It's a huge portion as well with a Deep bowl. What more do you want? Free? Lol
