Emiliano's Mexican Restaurant and Cantina

We stopped by because it looked nice from the outside, they have some patio seating that look really appealing on a sunny day after hiking the trails. once we were inside, we decided to all the way to the back for the gold course view (vs the street view) and it was pretty neat. They have a covered terrace with view to the golf course, so you could be just enjoying the greenery, or if you like golf, it’s totally funny to be judging on the swings while sipping on a margarita. The atmosphere was perfect , the staff was super friendly and kind, the restaurant is very clean and has awesome topical decorations, very original. Most of anything, the food selection was broad, lots of choices, from tamales, ceviche, mole, etc. and everything we tried was delicious. The chips and salsa were flowing

I came on a Sunday. There wasn't a problem with seating. I got a nice booth overlooking the golf course. I began with coffee and kahlua ha ha ha. Great way to begin your dinning experience.I sat there enjoying my coffee and view on a beautiful day. My waiter was pleasant and efficient. I ordered a chicken fajita which came to me sizzling hot and very very tasty.I then ordered a sangria. The whole meal was delightful. If disabled your going to have difficulty maneuvering around from the parking area to the entrance. Price of my dinning was a little pricey. But certainly worth paying!! The location of the restaurant is kinda hard to find.. especially on a busy road such as mission gorge. I will return for a very pleasant dinning experience.

The birria tacos and margaritas are so good! The daughter took over ownership from her father and the whole place looks really nice and has delicious food and great service. Very friendly staff. My friend and I will definitely be back for more!

Their shrimp ceviche, fish taco and shrimp burrito with enchilada sauce and cream were memorably good! The beautiful golf course views here and customer service top off the whole experience. Definitely a new favorite Mexican spot in the books!

I come down from LA about twice a month and this is always a must-stop location for me! The shrimp ceviche is top notch. I love the champagne showers drink and each visit lately I’ve been exploring a new item and every time it hits! If you’re in the neighborhood you have to stop by. A total gem in San Diego that I plan to frequent for many many years.
